Role Purpose
As the E-Commerce Catalogue & Operations Executive, you will own the accuracy, completeness, and search performance of the product catalogue on Wolfis.ae (Shopify). This covers uploading new products, keeping pricing and inventory correct, managing out-of-stock items, and optimizing every product and collection page for SEO.
You will also support day-to-day e-commerce operations, including order processing, fulfilment coordination, returns, and customer order queries. The goal is simple: every product a customer finds online is correctly listed, correctly priced, in stock, and delivered on time.
Responsibilities
Product Catalogue Management
- Upload new products to Shopify with complete and accurate titles, descriptions, specifications, variants, SKUs, barcodes, weights, and pricing.
- Source, edit, and upload product images that meet Wolfi's quality and consistency standards.
- Keep prices, compare-at prices, and promotional pricing up to date across the store.
- Assign products to the correct collections, product types, vendors, tags, and filters so customers can find them easily.
- Run regular catalogue audits to find and fix missing information, duplicate listings, broken variants, and incorrect data.
- Prepare catalogue updates for new season launches, brand onboarding, sales, and campaigns.
Inventory and Out-of-Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels daily and keep inventory in Shopify aligned with Cin7 and physical stock across all locations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory sync errors and stock discrepancies with the warehouse and retail teams.
- Manage out-of-stock products by hiding, archiving, or redirecting them according to agreed rules.
- Reactivate products promptly when stock returns.
- Flag low-stock and fast-moving items and suggest replenishment, especially for online-only products.
- Manage pre-order and back-in-stock settings where applicable.
SEO and Content Optimization
- Write and optimize product titles, descriptions, meta titles, meta descriptions, URL handles, and image text.
- Carry out keyword research and apply it to product and collection pages.
- Maintain and improve collection descriptions and on-page content to support organic growth.
- Set up redirects for removed or discontinued products to protect rankings and avoid broken links.
Order Management and Fulfilment
- Process daily online orders and coordinate with warehouse and retail teams for picking, packing, and dispatching.
- Book and track shipments with courier partners and follow up on delayed or failed deliveries.
- Monitor order statuses and proactively update customers on progress or delays.
- Handle returns, exchanges, refunds, and order-related queries in line with company policies.
- Resolve order issues caused by stock discrepancies quickly, offering customers suitable alternatives.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with warehouse, retail, purchasing, and courier teams to ensure accurate inventory and smooth fulfilment.
- Coordinate with marketing so promotions, launches, and campaigns have the right products live, priced, and in stock.
- Liaise with brands and suppliers to obtain product data, images, and specifications.
- Share feedback and ideas to improve the website user experience and internal processes.
Reporting and System Updates
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly online sales and catalogue performance metrics.
- Maintain reports on catalogue health, including products missing images, descriptions, or SEO fields, and out-of-stock rates.
- Assist with testing and launching new features, apps, and tools on the e-commerce platform.
- Document catalogue and operations processes to keep them consistent and repeatable.
Requirements for the Role
- 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce catalogue management, product data, or online retail operations.
- Hands-on Shopify experience, including product uploads, variants, collections, tags, metafields, and bulk editing.
- Working knowledge of on-page SEO: keyword research, meta data, product copy, alt text, and redirects.
- Strong Excel or Zoho Sheets skills, including CSV bulk imports and exports, VLOOKUP, and data cleaning.
- Experience with an inventory or ERP system (Cin7 is an advantage) and order management processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with product data.
- Strong written English for product descriptions and customer communication.
- Good communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Basic image editing skills (resizing, cropping, background clean-up) are a plus.
- Knowledge of cycling or triathlon products is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
- Highly organized and detail-oriented and takes real ownership of catalogue quality.
- A proactive problem-solver who spots errors and fixes them before customers notice.
- Comfortable working with large product data sets and repetitive tasks without losing accuracy.
- Able to juggle catalogue and operations priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Curious about SEO and keen to see their work drive organic traffic and sales.
- Collaborative, tech-driven, and hands-on, with a passion for customer satisfaction.
- An interest in cycling, triathlon, or endurance sports is a bonus.
Perks and Benefits
- Healthcare benefits.
- Opportunity for career advancement within the company.
- Employee discount on store merchandise.
- Dynamic and supportive work environment.
